It is around 10 pm, on October 11, 1492. Five months after departing Granada, Spain on an expedition to find a new sea route to Asia. An entry in Christopher Columbus’s diary mentions that the crew on two of his ships saw a light that appeared to be moving in the distance rising and lifting up from the sea. Columbus set his course toward the light. In a few hours, they saw land, and by the morning they reached the island of Guanahani. America had been “discovered”.

And it pointed the direction they should sail in order to find land? Come on! Let’s take another look at the chart… Mars is in a near-perfect sextile with the Sun. He saw a light, alright. Where? In the distance as if rising from the sea. The Sun is just above the ascendant by antiscion. Well, a light rising from the horizon! Jupiter and the Sun are in positive mutual reception and are well disposed toward Mars. That gives me the picture that the light, produced by the extraterrestrials, was acting as a beacon for Columbus to find land. Neptune, as is to be expected, makes all that is actually going on very much hidden from anyone’s awareness. Only someone working as a librarian in the Akashic Records Public Library can know this… Mercury’s proximity to the Sun and Mars being in an air sign ruled by Mercury drives the notion that this event is about communication between the parties involved. Mars is inside the 10th cusp by antiscion. Success indeed!
